Miu Miu by Miuccia Prada is launching its first-ever fragrance on September 10th – and it’s in a pretty blue bottle with an innovative cap. The fragrance is also attracting lots of attention with the cute black and white kitten that seems to be playing with the bottle in the print ads.

The packaging has a 60’s vibe – the multifaceted bottle is opaque, with a geometric look. It’s decorated with a pretty light blue coating. The red and gold cap looks ‘mod.’

Perfumer Daniela Andrier created the floral scent, which includes Lily of the valley, jasmine, rose absolute and Akigalawood. Akigalawood is an extract of pachouli. Instead of pachouli’s earthiness, enzymes are used to create a note that’s more spicy and peppery. Andrier tells Refinery 29 that it took more than 1,200 tries to get the juice right.

The campaign was shot by Steven Meisel, and stars actress Stacy Martin, in addition to the cat. Martin has a 60’s inspired look in the ads, which compliments the bottle – and her look includes winged eyeliner done by Pat McGrath.
